My mentor said something very meaningful.
Do you see yourself working in this line for the rest of your life?
It sets me thinking. Perhaps I still lack the experience and knowledge to be a good one. She said that I will know the answer when I've worked for half a year or so.
I do not know if my answer will change in the months or years to come and it seems like the answer will depend on what happens at work everyday.
But honestly, I'm glad that I'm here and I really like the strong spirit of teamwork.
And all I know is that I didn't choose the job totally because of my interest.
It's the job that evoked my interest in this line. :)

On Saturday, our friend showed us this!
On Sunday, we celebrated mooncake festival at grandparents' place where we tried many many mooncakes from many shops and countries. I gave my grandparents some money from my first pay too :) I could see that grandpa was really happy when he started giving us cups of softdrinks and later bottles of them for us to bring back. Perhaps it's the way that he thinks will make us happy, just like the when he used to give us the san cha sweets when we were young.
And today, was my first time taking the company's car and my very first to visit a client's place. Whee! pretty fun to be out of office x)

Oh man, only a week has passed.
How am I going to survive the many many months being stuck here :(
Maybe a miracle can happen. Just a small miracle like one which I'm allowed to take leaves and fly across the globe.
I shall continue to believe in this miracle so that there's a motivation for working hard to learn fast and earn money for this crazy idea.

I still find it pretty fun to chop..haha.. but like what wendy has said, the name chop comes with great responsibilities.. sounds like spiderman la!
Yesterday was the first time I went for a meeting with the clients in the office :) Always thought that it's so cool to see the managers wearing so smart when meeting clients and I finally got the chance to tag along!
Presented my namecard to them and it was quite an experience too..like finally it's my turn as I used to see adults doing that.
Sometimes I feel that there are loads of expectations and I really wonder if I can really do it. But well, I really appreciate that all of them are very willing to teach me loads of stuffs :)
I remembered that I've all along wanted to study finance until I started my first year in ntu, when I totally had no idea about that module. Perhaps it just goes one round and the hands on learning now is so much more interesting and I'm really learning alot :)
I hope that one day, I'll be able to understand everything in the market reports!
...by next year when you're back :)
