I just started reading my notes,
and i have a day to read all of them before my 2 papers on tuesday.
i'm so gona be dead!
brought cousin & lucinda to cnn studio today.
saw the live broadcasting and the how the stuffs works.
pretty cool i would say.
very sad that coke world is closed and the new one will be opened on 26th May or sth.
how can someone actually came atlanta when she nv even visited coke world?
so sad! :(
anyway,
we nv visited alot of places in atlanta too!
at least we went underground today and be touristy to walk ard downtown area.
lol..
so, there was a last dinner cooked by agnes,
just for all of us!
so nice of her.. :)
i'll be leaving atlanta on wednesday early morning.
can't believe that it passed so quickly.
heard from others that we would feel weird when we reach sg.
like everything is totally different.
i can imagine now that i'm at changi airport,
going home on the sat night.
it's really super weird lah!
it's just this very sian, different, reminiscing the memories, missing-all-the-fun,
hoping-that-you-are-still-with-the-rest-touring-whole-of-US feeling.
and to add on to it,
i need to do so many things on sunday
like cutting my hair (which i hvn for these 5 months),
buying clothes n stuffs for PA,
unpack abit of my luggage,
going ahmajia and share all the stories,
jetlag,
then start work on monday!

hope i won't look too bad on the first day of work.

Finally can take a breather
and today marks the last day of school for me!
i'm supposed to have presentation now
but my stomach is so painful and having diarrhoea :(
so i got to back out last min..
a big thank you to kelly and dylan who will help me present!
we finished the 20+ pg report when we actually started at 11pm last night.
ok..there's supposed to be school tmr..
but it's just review sessions and there's a guest coming now..
so we'll bring her around tmr onwards..
hee..actually she's jl's cousin..
so i got to leave a good impression?
hahaha..
anyway, last weekend was spent at smoky mountains.
this time round it's in a different part, near this place called pigeon forge,
which is a very happening place with lots of people and vintage cars.
it's a very countryside touristy place for US pple..
and i only saw angmohs there except us..
the down side is that the traffic jam was horrible
and we were stuck in the jam for 2hrs+ when we went to walmart to get some stuffs for the bbq.
i wish this is my house..
the 5 of us were the first to reach and we had pasta for dinner.. it felt like family :)
there was a bed facing a window and i opened my eyes in the morning to see the greenish, reddish mountains far far away.
so nice!
Some were playing,
some were studying,
some were soaking in the hot tub.
paul, kelly, jl & me went golfing on saturday morning
the golf course is called Bent Creek and there are so many creeks around.
why were they on the hill? xP
other than taking photos,
my job there is of course,
is to drive around with the buggy!
heehee..it was so fun! :)
we celebrated jon's birthday on saturday night.
the guys have this habit of throwing food and drinks at people.
we were running around the whole place to trying to hide
and i met yiping on the way and we ran to hide in the car,
using jackets to cover ourselves up!
when there are two cakes prepared for a birthday..
elmo! very cute right..
but it wasn't saved either..
it was so crazy
until the police came..
and the both of us were the only few left untouched :)
anyway, happy birthday jon!

went golfing just now with jl and paul.
the korean old man greeted us in korean when we left..
hmm..we look like koreans even to koreans?
coz the other day we were saying that the angmohs thinks that all asians are koreans
since there are so many of them here..
there is only 2 more weeks left before we are all leaving this place..
most of them are going to travel around US
but i'll have to be back to do my PA.
this weekend will be the last roadtrip that we will be going..
it's smoky mountains' lodge again! :)
arghh..i really don't want this to end..
i really don't want to go back.

but ok lah, US that's why right. if you the other programme last time, maybe u want to come back long ago already. hahaha.

but it was totally
SO FUN!
it started to rain not long after we started rafting..
so we went through the rapids with raindrops falling on us.
the scenery is awesome,
with very scenic trees and mountain areas around.
it was actually very relaxing when we were at the calm waters,
admiring the scenery.
and the instructor told us why is it called the great
smoky mountains..
we saw smoke coming up from the trees coz its a very dense forest area.
so amazing!
oh yah!
it snowed in atlanta last weekend..
the first time it snowed this year
and it actually snowed during spring!
the weather suddenly became very cold last week..
so unpredictable.
but we were in new orleans...
so sad! x(

just came back from
calvin's birthday celebration.
it was a messy one again.
cakes, beers, soft drinks and
MILK pouring all over..
eeks!
lol..
but it's really fun to celebrate birthdays :)
have been playing with a business game for strategic management.
i wonder if ntu's one will be the same game.
it's really fun but sometimes it's kind of hard to get it through to the group members.
there were 4 of us - clarence, kelly, jl, me.
just nice to form a team of accountant, finance, marketing to cover all aspects of the game.
but we were splitted up.
well, at least i finally really interact with the students here..
it's the 6th round now.
2 more rounds to go..
i hope Chester (my team) will continue to be the leader and win! x)
guess our gip group is just too close with each other,
spending too much time together..
not much feeling of interaction with others..lol..
but i really love it! :)
had my last finance exam on wednesday
and it didn't go well..
so, i'm left with 2 final exams on 1st April,
not forgetting presentation and assignments...
went to buckhead today..
the high class place in atlanta..
with very posh apartments with porters.
so we took the buc to lenox square..
just love the shops here!
wanted to buy alot of stuffs from wetseal but clothes in the shop is really messy
and i couldn't find what i wanted.
guess buying online is much easier..
hope that i can go pidemont park for rollar blading tmr! :)

These were what we saw at St Bernard Parish, New Orleans.
There were alot of seashells all over the area. Initially i was thinking why are there seashells by the road sides, on the fields, when there are no beaches around.
I could picture how the waves might have been by looking at the poles and street signs that are bent to one side. It is a very residential area with many nice houses around. But what is left is just the structure of the house, some with a notice of demolition pasted outside, and empty inside. There were words sprayed on roofs seeking for help.
It rained on sunday and I saw that the houses were flooded.
Our duty was to clean up the area and i saw a barbie doll burried under the dirt, picked up a patrick starfish.
Where we stayed for the first day:
A old middle school that is under going renovation.
there wasn't any place to shower..but we could bear with it :)

On Easter Sunday, there was a little carnival for the kids there.
with Easter Egg hunt and other games.
the smile on their face makes you feel so happy and wonder why such a thing happened to them.
Even though we didn't help much as there were alot of students there,
there's still a sense of satisfaction in what we do.
While we were sweeping the roads,
there was a lady who drove past and thank us for helping them.
There was a parent who said to xx and yiping:
"Now he can have a safe place to play."isn't it touching?

went to philips arena again yesterday.
this time was to watch Atlanta Trashers VS Washington Capitals in ice hockey!
we were seated pretty far behind as compared to the NBA match
which was sponsored by the school.
it was packed with so many people!
very violent game i would say and this is alot more exciting than the NBA match but the Trashers lost by 1 point.
It was supposed to be a draw but 1 of the goal was not counted and it made the audience so angry and we went BOO each time Washington got the puck.
This is the Trasher's mascot and his bodyguard. They looked so hilarious when the both of them were dancing to YMCA.
i'm SO TANNED! eeks..it's like getting tanner even after florida. most of the others are peeling but i will never peel :(
i've gain quite abit of weight too -.-
anyway, i'm going New Orleans this easter weekend for community service. We'll be going there to build a playground for the kids to rebuild the city due to the destruction caused by Katrina.
the event is called eggsintheeasy :)

bought many things on friday at premium outlet for all my so mafan family members
back home..they actually gave me a list of what to buy!
so i spent a really BIG bomb
and i have no idea how i'm going to bring all of them back..
p/s: i loved the bag so much that i went back again to buy one for myself! =x
after shopping:
i golfed too!
our favorite tofu house! :)
Saturday was THE DAY!!
ok..i didn't jump coz i'm too scared that i will feel naseous and puke x(
the first batch of jumpers: Chloe, Raymond, Andrew
then it was jl and clarence!

now, in the sky...

dinner was at cheesecake factory
tried all of their new flavors
and i love tres leches coz it's not very cheezy and it's abit like strawberry cake!
guess it will be the last time that we'll be going there as there's not much time anymore :(
