it's been a long time since we spent sunday at ahmajia.

perhaps we no longer find excitement in going to econ minimart,
but we still enjoyed the car-rides.


i felt the same as en when she said
"有一点新年的感觉"


cos most people were there.
if only everyone can be there
just like when we were young,
when we played until we fell asleep by the sofa while waiting for our parents to finish their mahjong game.



does everything really change when we grow up?

these are what i learnt today in services..


when what is delivered way exceeds your expectations,
you'll be delighted.
but for the next encounter,
you'll demand even more as the previous experience sets the new level
and it in turns increases the level that you perceive to be adequate.
if it falls below that, you'll be very disappointed.

it is like a theatre,
your staff are your actors,
your customers are your audience.

there is always a front-stage that you show to the others,
and the back-stage is what that is really happening.
some customers are awed by the beautiful props and lightings,
while some would really want to see what goes on behind and underneath it all.

your staff are your actors.
each of them have to follow a particular appearance and manner
to reflect the roles that they play.
they must also know their roles and scripts well so that there is consistency.
however, it's their expressive devices which gives the customer a deeper impression.
no matter how well groomed they appear to be,
a customer can always tell a false smile from a real and sincere one.

your customers are your audience.
they have protective services
whereby they will give allowance for mistakes
by saying "it's ok" when something unpleasant happens.
this is because they want to see the whole of the service
as they believe that it will be good.



perhaps you'll understand what i really mean..
perhaps not..

and i'm still like having my holidays.
should start on the things that I hope to do!

1. register for driving lessons
2. join golf lessons in sch so that i can hit the greens and drive buggy again!

i have quite enough of naggings from these two things..zzz


i'm kind of excited over something..
if that really happens..
then someone will be the happiest

my package is going to float around aimlessly yet again.
perhaps one day it will finally reach me.
i hope.


i don't want people to wear my clothes

First is my pinky monkey





It was the top prize and won by someone in a dart game.
even though i wished that there was spongebob or patrick at that particular station,
i was still overjoyed.
and i chose you coz u matched my pinky crocs.
i still remembered carrying u throughout universal studios
and u were there accompanying me when everyone went to take the rides and left me under the sun :(





We saw many of ur substitutes at Times Square Toys'r'us
but they just look different.
Although Dylan called you yaosiu,
i still think that you're really cute and placed you on my bed.


Next is Tazzy



I don't even have a photo of you and this is taken from yiping. :(
You were my souvenier from six flags coz i was too timid to go.
Someone said that you share certain attributes as me so he chose this.
We spent only like a few weeks together but i realised that i like to be like you.


And last but not least,
the piggy from new orleans.



I didn't even bother to bring you back :(
feel so bad now that i threw u in the garbage chute..
you came flying towards us during mardi gras
when everybody had softtoys except me.
i placed the mardi gras beads on your head so that you looked like a princess.
each time when Tim came into my room,
he'll laugh at you but i still love you and chased him out.



i feel very bad and sad now :(

the other day i was talking to dad n someone
on sub prime leasing/interest rates & the housing bubble.
i felt smart like for once as they no longer talk to me like i'm a little girl

i should really read more to be of same frequency!
x)


on the other note,
i realised that it's been half a year since I've touched something related to marketing.
i can't exactly remember the use of 4Ps
and now, there's 7 of those.

i really dread going to school and doing tutorials.


tmr will be my first time meeting my fyp prof!

Time to blog!

but my lappie has died so i'll upload photos some other day..
the two weeks of break had zoomed passed and school is starting tmr!

was reading my old blog entries as reference to my reflection report and saw one of the post that i wrote


i wonder what will it be..
i wonder what will i learn...
i wonder how will i change...


honestly, i feel the same as before..lol..
it wasn't hard to adapt at all maybe coz i didn't try to be really independent.
but of course, i learnt a great deal from it.


even though it was really fun,
i didn't regret to come back earlier to do my internship :)
i'm really glad to be given the chance and even though there were times of despair,
we still had loads of fun together and it was a great experience.
really hope that we'll always meet up! :)

The other day Aston was asking why am i so cruel to put the flower in the vase.



It's because the flower is too weak to endure the storms in it's life
but it still wishes to have the warmth of the sun.
Perhaps, the vase won't be there forever
as accumulated cracks would never go away.
You may try to cover up the cracklines but eventually,
one day, it will shatter into pieces.

will the flower still grow?
i don't know.
but it's supposed to be a seen by others as a sunflower afterall.


would you want to take care of something this tough?
