It's the 3rd week of school.
I'm so lagging behind in school work..
Only bought 1 textbook.
and just had a quiz today without a book.
=x

now i appreciate how cheap our textbooks were back in sg.
my mgt of financial instituition text costs USD$150 here!
hope the ebay transaction will be successful so i can get the international edition.

Reached Savannah and chilled out at this very nice place called Moon River.
There's a beer brewery in the shop that makes very nice beer!



A very nice bridge that leads to south carolina and that's a boat called earthrace.
Jackson said that it's the fastest boat in the world or something.


Day 2



Rise and Shine!

went to a haunted house and got chased out by the person in charge
and went around to find forrest gump's chair.
but couldn't find!

Day 3









Woke up at 6 am to watch the beautiful sunrise :)





i love the foamy ocean..it looks like snow.






Fiona, Yiping and I being crazy when someone is sleeping to get enough rest to send us back safely x)



It was raining really heavily when we were on our way back.
visibility was so low and windscreen turned so misty..
and all we did was sleep..lol..
for the 5 hours drive, xin ku ni le!




Skiing at North Carolina this weekend!

There's another roadtrip today!
we are going to savannah!
it was only suggested, decided and planned on yest midnight..
this time round there will only be 10 people going..
416 guys + fiona + yiping + me

it's kind of scary though
hope it will be fun
and i won't have cramps!

leaving at 4 pm today and back on Sunday :)

My poor boy had a cut near the eyes from a soccer game
it's quite big and deep :(

Second day:

Left for the 1.30 hour drive to factory oulet!
shopped from 11am-5pm
there are so many shops there and so many good deals!
heez..so happy with my buys.
had korean food for dinner and it's so yummy



after dinner,
drove around to find a place to thrill and for us to try driving
it was so fun though i was driving like a tortise..
lol..
but looking at dylan screeching his brakes around
made everyone went mad..

blasting music on the streets at 1am
with wind in your face
feels really nice!

lol..ok..
i know it's dangerous..
but we didn't speed..

i want to go for more roadtrips!

just had a super crazy night with blasting of music, screams, screechings and fun!

i've decided to take only 4 modules here.
friday being a free day
and this monday is a public holiday!
so all of us will be going for road trips going to stone mountain park
and premium outlet
hope it will be really fun!

went to lenox square today
and did a little shopping..
there are so many shops but they are not really cheap i would say.
there was a sale at american eagle
so both us bought something :)

Today was the first day of school.
went for my first class alone which is personal selling and sales management.
there will be role plays in the seminar and many presentations..
even though it's a really useful module,
i don't think i can do it..
it's really scary to do role playing and try to sell your products to the class of ang mohs.

i want to drop it.
i know i'm lousy.
:(

just hope that tmr's classes will be alright
and i will be able to reach my psychology class in time.

the weather was pretty cold today.
the change in temperature seems really drastic.

the second class was at 6pm.
management of financial institution..
i really disliked FM class but not much choice now..
think clarence and kelly are quite good in finance..
so we shall do project together!
lol..

it was my first time cooking rice!
though it was kind of hard =x

i like brocollis and cauliflowers now
with all the oyster sauce and sesame oil..

went to the guys place to have dinner again
though im not in their meal plan.
they cook really well

There's finally an internet connection :)

Days spent at NY was really great.
The place is so beautiful.
Countdown at Times Square!!
lol..
well,
we didn't get to see the ball as we were pretty far away.

Shall post the photos soon.

Things turned kind of bad when we reached Atlanta.
Went to a tiny and old hostel that the other ntu people were staying at.
We reached there at 10am
but there seemed to be no bed for us or some other problems
that we weren't allow to even go up the stairs.
left our luggage there for the whole day.
went back to the hostel in the evening
but it was not settled yet.
were told to wait for 2 minutes but it took like 2 hours.

it felt so terrible.
we did not sleep the previous night due to the 6am flight
thus had to spend the night in NY airport.

i felt so sad that why was i doing there.
with no rooms or bed to go to.
just sitting on the common dinning table and falling asleep.
with nobody who cares
or people who don't really bother though we've already reserved our beds.
it just felt so kelian.

i couldn't control my tears.

after waiting for almost 12 hours,
we finally got our beds.
it was a really small room with 4 beds.
just me, jl and kelly.

went to bathe and it was so scary that jl had to wait outside for me.
the water heater wasn't really working
and it was freezing cold at times.

couldn't wait to get out of the place.

now,
here we are at Georgia Institute of Technology
and everything has been fine.

This will be my home for the next 5 months.
