Most of us have had our 21st birthday. When i was young, i used to think of how will it be like to grow up.
At times, i can't imagine myself becoming an adult, with so many responsibilities coming along as we grow older. Thus, i thought to myself that perhaps the day in the far future would not come.
Perhaps your 21st birthday was a big party bash, a celebration with your best friends or just a simple dinner with your family.
No matter how it was celebrated, i'm sure all of us were happy turning 21. For it signified freedom and joy.
I'm just feeling a little lost of what i should be doing, of how it would be like, and being a little worried of the birthday that i would be attending this saturday.
i hope that you would be happy :)
sometimes i wish that i could do something, but i don't know what i can do and i don't know how to. i feel really bad.
anyway, the other day when we were at bungy bar, i saw that they have bahama mama! still remember the funny way that the guys used to call it.
Enchanted by some things so familiar yet so distant.
Storybook endings, fairy tales coming true Deep down inside we want to believe they still do And a secret is taught, it's our favourite part of the story Let's just admit we all want to make it too
Ever ever after If we just don't get it our own way Ever ever after It may only be a wish away
or perhaps, this is really a world with no happily ever after.
but i'll still believe that dreams do come true :)
the exams are over.. but i don't feel especially happy or a total sense of freedom.. perhaps it's due to the fact that i've been slacking for the whole sem.. or coz i didn't really study hard or coz i got a really tiny brain that cannot store things.
i need some miracle for aa102. pleasee.. :(
on a brighter note, after the paper, we celebrated sis's 18th birthday at ember.
i kind of like the place. For all the effort put in every course, they seemed like pieces of art. For the warmth of hospitality, it felt cosy and nice.
and of course, the many varities of desserts that we shared among each other for a perfect sweet ending :)
pretty interesting, but of course, i'm applying in the wrong context again. lol..
hee..okies.. time to go back to the book that seem to revolve around: Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Harrahs Entertainment, Chick-Fil-A Bank of America, Atlanta. etc.
Was thinking about the storyline of Anna&Anna when i was bathing and i realised that it's not about choosing the type of life you want. - there is only one way.
Sometimes, we find ourselves struggling to move on with our lives or to hang on to whatever that is left.
I'm not sure about my choice now..
When i was much younger and naive, i would have chosen to hang on and put hopes on the remaining glimmer of light, hoping that it will rekindle someday, as long as i try hard.
However, this choice that we made would be doubted in the future
and we'll always ask ourselves,
"what if i walked out of the door during that time?"
"how would i be like?"
-
-
Perhaps there is not enough courage to do so,
if he didn't give you enough reasons to leave.
So you would think of the worst possible ways that he would have treated you,
which will justify that walking out would be the right choice.
-
-
The movie portrayed the perfect life if you were to step out.
Having everything that you've ever wanted in your current life.
A fashionable young lady, a successful career
and even having someone who listens, cares and loves you so dearly
even though you couldn't be bothered about him.
-
It is the direct opposite as he is everything that you longed for.
while he is also a reflection of urself,
of everything that u've sacrificed,
of every effort that u've given.
Perhaps, this gives u the assurance of having someone who loves u more than u do for him
-
--
But, as perfect as dreams may be,
we tend to take a step back and ponder if those are we want,
and what if all we ever wanted was to be in that special someone's arms?
-
For she may seemed perfect but all she ever wanted was what i have now
and all she ever wanted was to stay.
-
-
As pessismistic as it may seem,
i feel that this existence of this reason in the future may be just to justify our silly selves on our decision of staying.
-
-
i don't know why did i interpret it this way..
and it's not the surface of choosing between a materialistic life or caring for your loved ones.
-
However, I do agree that it's the little words and gestures that makes someone else feel loved and encouragements would really be their pillars of strength.
i can only have interest in studying something that i can relate to in my life. perhaps that is why i like marketing and the reason that i dislike maths.
hope i've really finally found a teeny weeny bit of that in accounting. though it's a lil' bit late x)
i'm pretty amazed by the things some people talk over the normal coffeetalks.. it's like so much of what i've studied just without the theoretical terms guess it all sums up from experience and i kind of like hearing those conversations :) perhaps i used to be too young to bother about such stuffs that i found them so boring..
and i feel happy for you for that internship jiayou :)
Here we are again, circles never end how do I find the perfect fit there's enough for everyone but I'm still waiting in line
Who doesn't long for someone to hold who knows how to love you without being told somebody tell me why I'm on my own if there's a soulmate for everyone...
i'm always whining the day before my driving lesson but i'll enjoy myself during driving!
now i don't feel that driving at 60 is fast anymore :) can't imagine that i used to drive at half the speed on the roads.. and 20 in circuit..no wonder by the time i brake for turns, the car won't have much speed left..lol..
so far i've had 5 lessons and only had 2 different instructors.. one of them is quite serious and the other one is very funny.
i feel very at ease when the instructor talks nonsense to me like even though i'll be concentrating on the roads, it's not those hard concentration where i'll feel so relieved at the end of it.
i think the circuit is really like a playground xP i kind of like going thru the S + abit crank course then i tried the slope thingy too.. but i still duno why the car will move forward when i accelerate with handbrake on..
and today i tried directional change! it's supposed to be taught later on but like nth much to do so i did 3 times for fun.. quite tough! i mounted the curb during one of the times..zzz
but my right kneecap will always ache after the 2 hours..
and so, i've completed 14 subjects out of 30, stage 1 of 4
yay! can't wait to get my license.. can't wait to drive dad's new car.. can't wait to have my own car.. lol..i wish!
