Last Saturday i was watching a chn8 zoe tay's show.
it's those light hearted and funny shows.
she was asked why can she be always so happy
no matter what problem she's faced with.
the secret to her happiness is the thinking of
"I'm more fortunate than others."

it reminds me of things i had once thought of.
perhaps it's just my naive thinking
as when i watched shows,
it's usually those very pretty and sweet looking girls who had to slog their lives out.

so i started to think that maybe everything is fair afterall.

some are beautiful.
some are wealthy.
some are borned smart.
some have perfect skin.
some have nice smooth hair.
some have perfect figure.
some are successful in their career.
some have more leisure time.
some excel in sports.
some excel in schoolwork.
some have a happy family.
some have a person who is always there.
some have mothers who will cook green bean soup when they are sick.
some have really close siblings.
some have sugar daddies.
some have more friends.
some have confidants.


we inevitably fall short of the perfect life.

at times we may wonder why did we get the mess in life
and not realise how fortunate we are.
